Michael's worst day ever!!!

So poor Michael had quite the day today. First he did get made fun of for his hair, that makes me really mad. For one it doesn't look bad, even if it's not the hair style you like. One "friend" said, "don't be offended but your hair cut looks stupid, some friend.
But that's just the beginning in first Recess Michael got hit in the mouth with a baseball bat, it was an accident by someone who hit the ball and Michael wasn't paying any attention. We'll I didn't get a call from the school until 1:30. She told me he got hit had a small cut and mentioned a tooth came out. I texted Mark and he told me to go and look.
I went and he lost a tooth (that was already loose) chipped a permanent tooth, and another baby molar was knocked loose too. He had a small cut on the outside of his lip and what I thought was some scarps inside. So he went back to class.
When he got home he said Mom I think my tooth went all the way through, he would let me get a good look at school. I got a hold of mark again, and said to let him go to practice and than bring him in. So we did.
So we got home around 9:30. 2 hours at Mark's office chasing crazy hipper Drew (I have no idea why he was so crazy.), Yes his tooth went all the way through. He got 3 stitches inside and 3 outside, don't I feel stupid, but I have to say I"m sure glad Mark is an Oral Surgeon Resident, everything was free, and Mark did a great job. He also did some tooth restoration on Michael's tooth that was chipped it was also very sensitive. So Now Michael has a fat lip. Poor guy and he is now worried he'll get made fun of for his fat lip and stitches. On the way home he told me this was the worst day ever! I told him stitches are cool. Here's some pictures Mark took. And a very funny video.

Here's Michael getting a shot, by the hottest Doc in town! Michael isn't so sure about this.

See below doesn't that look like some scrapes? HOw did I know it went all the way through?

Yea Now you can see it did go all the way through.

ANd here is the final result. Of course I don't really ahve a before picture. But imagine it with no sitches. And here is the video, just so you know the assistant he is talking about his Savannah, she is holding the suction tube. I hope the video is ok, it had some problems uploading. I'm going crazy.

I was just thinking what a babe he was on your last post! I love his eyes and I thought his hair was way cute! Skinny jeans aren't my favorite, but at least HE looks cute in them.

That video is so gross and disturbing to watch...but at the same time really funny. :) His lip don't look nearly as bad as I was picturing, but I'm sure it dosn't feel to good. It is just too bad that kids have to worry so much about being made fun of for every little thing, it's sad. I hope he has a better day today.

Ok so I was just furious about another nephew getting picked on and feeling so sad for him, and then I watched that video and felt so much better. That has to be the cutest thing. Mark is so fun and what a great dad, making him laugh. Michael is so sweet and I just hope he will cheer up and learn from all of this troubles. What else can you do right? I love his smile! He's really growing into those permanant teeth well and is so handsome. My favorite is his smile, will you pass that on to him for me? Tell him his aunt loves him too. Oh, and don't blame yourself for not knowing he needed stiches, and what kind of school waits like 3 hours to call the mom when he lost a tooth!!!!!

Okay,

I don't know how Mark got Michael to laugh during the whole lip procedure... and how Savannah was brave enough to help, too. I must say, it is a cool video. You should bring it to play in Michael's class. I bet 5th grade boys would like that! ;-) What a great Dad Mark is! He has many dental/surgical skills he has as well! :-) I don't think I would have realized that the tooth went all of the way through, either, Sharon. I mean, how often does that even happen?

The kids want to know when Michael is coming back... They miss him so much! Weston's other best friend, besides David, had his two front teeth (permanent) broken out in football practice this week, too. What is going on with boy's breaking teeth out?

Okay, now I am paranoid... ;-)

Take care! I love the blog!
