Savannah the Pancake Maker

Savannah has become a great little cook.  She is very good at making pancakes and she is very creative with her cooking!

Gymnastics Spring Show

The girls have been taking gymnastics, they really like it. They have improved so much since they started.  Taylor is so flexible, she can bend every which direction she can do middle splits and normal.  Savannah has a little more strength and has moved up to the next class, she is beginning to learn back handsprings.

Savannah's Grape Smasher

Savannah also had a really great teacher.  They had to make a simple machine that could smash Grapes.   Well with everything that had been going on (My Grandma passing away) we where doing this at the last minute the night before it was due.  She came up with the idea, and it was a very good one.  The Grape rolled down the incline plane and was smashed between two wheels.

Mendon Cemetery

My Grandma Porter was buried in the Mendon Cemetery in Cache Valley Utah.  It's a beautiful location.  This is memorial day (May.)  My dad and mom took my Grandpa up to see the grave after it was covered and the headstone put back in place.

 There are several realitives buried here.  My Grandma's maiden name was Whitney, she comes from the line of Newell K. Whitney (from Kirkland.)  So there are several Whitney's here.  I'm sure we are related to about half the people buried here.

This is the Lewiston Cemetery where my Great Grandma and Grandpa Porter are buried another beautiful cemetery.

Very Funny

Ok, so you see the big grin on Melinda's face and John laughing?  Well two seconds before my sister opened her present my cute Grandpa said, "What is it a topless bathing suit?"  It was so hilarious, we where all laughing so hard.  He is so funny.

Taylor's Puppet Show

Taylor had an amazing 1st grade teacher.  They did puppet show's.  Taylor was in the 3 bears, she was mamma bear.  I can't get the video to post, but here's some pictures.

Taylor Star of the Week

This is Taylor's poster for Star of the week, she was very creative and taped four papers together to create the poster.   It was so fun to look at her pictures over the years and see how's she changed.  She is such a cutie.

Happy 80th Birthday Grandma

My mom's mom turned 80 in May.  So a week after we got home from California we took off to St. George to through a party for my grandma.  I had made a video slide show for her birthday and it had taken a lot of time.  Scanning pictures over 80 years.  I'm glad it's done and she really liked it.  It was fun to see cousins I hadn't seen in a long time, everyone was their except one cousin and her six kids and another cousin with her daughter.

It was a great turn out, she had a lot of people from the neighborhood come too.

Drew's Preschool Graduation.

Drew finished preschool, he'll be going again next year.  He was cute, and shy at his little graduation. Sometimes he would participate and sometimes he wouldn't.

Mother's Day

One our way home we stopped at my Grandma's house it happened to be Mother's day.  She had both her daughters with her that day.  What a nice treat.

Cool Car

On our drive home from California we saw this cool car...  Michael took a lot of pictures.

 And below is a picture I never posted of Michael's basketball team who went undefeated this year.  He had a great time!  This is back in the spring.
