A Busy WEek

WE'll the this week has been a little busy. Between capturing and releasing wild animals I have been preparing for a shower with my friend. I was pretty stressed out about it for some reason. Well one reason is I had to collect a large amount of money for the group gift, people are really generous here. And than I had to pick out the gift, and that was stressful. The cleaning is the worst part I think. WE had good food, and fun games and a great turnout. I also did the decorating which I have to say I LOVED! I did a clothes line. With a bunch of stuff that the new mom could take home. My friend Victoria h elped me put it up and it turned out really cute. Don't you think? It looked so much better in person.

Taylor's Preschool Graduation

Taylor graduated from preschool yesterday. They had a little program and than they went to the classes and sang a couple of songs and than presented them their "diploma." Isn't she cute?

Gross, gross and double gross...

Or should I say quadruple gross? We have been catching possums for about 4 days now. But today was the best of all. Or the worst. We caught a Mom, and how do I know this? Well I went to look at her and suddenly I say a bunch of things moving, like larger worms, but they aren't worms they are tails. TAILS!!!!! I counted about 5 at least before she has them all back in her pouch, yes they have pouches I looked it up. The bad part about looking them up is learning how many desieses they carry and bugs etc. Now I feel all itchy all over. I don't think I want to catch and transport anymore. Ugh! So I have at least caught 4 adults, and at least 5 babies that is just 9 to many for me.
Here's the latest. This is the mom with her babies, if you look closely you can see the tails and claws of some of the babies.
And below is the catch from yesterday. I seriously am getting sick to my stomach after reading that info online.

Possum's

The Victims:

The Destroyer:

I was not happy about a week ago to walk out and visit my garden to see my best pumkin half way eaten. (It's not pictured it too disturbing.) So I rented a cage from our best Polytech Pest Control. We had two failed attempts than after our trip we tried again and added some weight and this is what we found the next morning. But it doesn't stop there. We caught another. And all I can say is they stink! And I really, really, hope there aren't anymore.

But here's some hightlights from our garden:

Cucumbers:

The Corn and pumpkins:

Tomatoes, peppers, sick zucchini and patatoes.

Michael's Tournament

So Michael's baseball Tournament started on Saturday they played really well, Michael had a triple, but unfortunately the team came back in the last inning and won. Today we also had a came and that was crazy, it's the bottom of the fourth and turns out their pitcher they have been using is not eligable to play today. He was at his full count of pitches on Friday and has to have 3 full days of rest. To make a long frustrating experience short, they other team had to forfiet. I feel bad for those kids on the other team, plus their parents where horrible, yelling at the coaches and stuff. Anyway here's some picture from Michael's game.

A Correction

Ok, so I made a mistake I said we went to Johnny's Salami, well it's actually Johnny's Pastrami in Culver city. Just an FYI

Bathing in the Sink

Since Drew has had stitches he can't take baths. He can take showers but I thought this was a lot easier. He love sitting in the sink. And my sink had a sprayer. This is him just after the bath.
