Or should I say quadruple gross? We have been catching possums for about 4 days now. But today was the best of all. Or the worst. We caught a Mom, and how do I know this? Well I went to look at her and suddenly I say a bunch of things moving, like larger worms, but they aren't worms they are tails. TAILS!!!!! I counted about 5 at least before she has them all back in her pouch, yes they have pouches I looked it up. The bad part about looking them up is learning how many desieses they carry and bugs etc. Now I feel all itchy all over. I don't think I want to catch and transport anymore. Ugh! So I have at least caught 4 adults, and at least 5 babies that is just 9 to many for me. 
Here's the latest. This is the mom with her babies, if you look closely you can see the tails and claws of some of the babies.

Wow! Possums are gross. I can't believe you caught so many! I'd think the babies were cute though.... well, maybe not in real life!
good thing you caught that mama one, you might have had to catch an extra 5 babies in a month or so!
They look fierce in the cage! Yuck-I remember being little and watching some pbs "nature" show about frogs. This one particular frog had like a net back, and the babies would jet in and out of it. Eww, goosebumps just thinking of it.
