Savannah's Fish

Savannah had a project this week. It was to make a Recycled fish. We used a macaraoni and cheese box. She decided to she wanted a sword fish. I think it turned out cute. I saw my friends Daughter's and it was really cute and "fancy," It would be fun to see all of them. I'm sure they are all so unique.

I also went on a field trip with Savannah (drew tagged along) we went to the Birch Aquarium, it was fun has a beautiful view. I'm glad I got in for free. I spent most of the time calling the other children's names because they kept running away. Heree's the one and only picture I took while on the field trip.

Weird

Ok, so I got a visit on my blog from Saudi Arabia for 40 minutes. Nobody is on my blog that long. See I have sitemeter that monitors how long people are on, where they are from, etc. Would this bother anyone else? And than he typed in a name and when I googled it it's a tribal name realated to Al-queda. Hopefully it happens to be someone I know. If not I don't know I may have to my blog private. That's the only one out of the ordinary. Should I be worred?

:-(

So I woke up this morning (I forgot to mention this) to find out that I lost one of my diamonds in my ring.  I have these little diamonds, and in 11 years this is the 3rd one i've lost.  It's a pain to replace since the place I got it is in utah only.  So I have a feeling it will be empt for a while.  And looking for it is like looking for a piece of sand in my house.  Yeah right!

On the plus side, my garden is growing I just looked at my pictures a few weeks ago.  I'm so happy.  I have things that are struggling, like my onions and carrots, they don't like me.  But so far everything else is growing, in fact my radishes are all grown I need to pull them.  Note to self, don't plant all the radish seeds at once, one row each month would be a good idea.  Oh well.  I'll post pictures later.  Now if these plants produce vegetables that would be great.

Finally rest.

So this week has been pretty busy for me. And believe it or not I didn't take a single picture. Amongst the baseball games and practices Michael had a report due. His first one. I didn't like doing this at all. It made me feel like I was back in school. See I'm not a procrastinator and lets just say he didn't hop on this project as soon as I'd like. Needless to say it was a long week, and I think my (oops I mean his) report turned out really well. It was on Old Town.
We had the usual dance classes too. Than Mark let me know on Friday (I thought I could just relax this weekend maybe catch a movie or something) that his friends were coming over from work. Ugh, the house is a complete mess on Friday mind you.
But we had fun, it was a friend and his family. His wife was very nice, she produces TV commercials.
Today was Stake conference. I'm always amazed how there is hardly anyone there. Picture the stake centers in Utah, Ours is slightly smaller. And the gym is not even full. Kind of sad. The kids did pretty good. Ten times better than the teenagers sitting behind us. I could hardly hear, also it was like we were sitting in the kids play zone. It was loud. That's what we get for being late.
And believe it or not I had a nap today. Which I regret, because I am more tired now than before my nap, and I don't feel very good after naps plus I won't be able to sleep very well today.
I also started a behavior chart this weekend I really need something to help us. I am getting mad too many times. It's really simple if they do what they are asked the first time they get a good check Mark, if they don't or if they misbehave they get a bad check mark. And if they do something without being asked they get a STAR which is worth 5 good check marks. This week whoever has the most get to go out to eat anywhere they want. I hope it helps.
We'll someone is begging for Juice. Oh Drew will be starting speech therapy did you know by 24 months they should know 400 words? Yea Drew doesn't even know 50. He is doing much better but this should help. Ok, free time over.

Last Week

The kids got a hold of the camera.

My first product of my garden, a radish and I have lots more now.

From Michael's field trip at BAlboa Park Botanical Gardens.

An Upset Drew

Her love, Nibbles

So last week was pretty busy, starting with a crazy Monday after school. Thinking Michael's baseball practice was at 4 pm, ran to the elementary school that is about 15 minutes away, to find nobody there, so run back to the baseball field just to make sure it's not there (which happens to be about 5 minutes from our house) nope nobody there either. Run home, check email, Practice is at 4:30 I check the clock it's 4:25, yeap he is going to be later. And he reminds me as we head there, reminds me when we are 10 minutes late and than when we are 15 minutes late. I was nervous because I didn't recognize any cars, but he waved letting me know that someone was there. So I headed off to Lowes, to pick up the Pete pots I left there earlier, so annoying, but on the plus side I found potatoes to plant yeah!

Than off I went to the girls dance class, they did great it was tap day. I chased Drew all over the place of course the playground isn't enough for him he wants to run up the 100 stairs that are there.

Head back to get Michael from practice to only find out, there was NO PRACTICE!!!!! What!!!! It was another kid and his dad who also didn't know there was no practice. So frustrating. All that running around for absolutely no reason. What a great way to start the week.

Tuesday Off we go....I went with Michael's class on a field trip that was actually pretty fun, we went to balboa park the Gem and Mineral Society he loves rocks, so that was a huge hit. And they got a great little gift bag from there which Savannah confiscated and gave the rocks away, not just any of the rocks Michael's favorite. I didn't know that until Friday. Anyway back to the field trip it was fun I talked with 10 year olds about cell phones and why Michael can't have one and how he will survive without one, and also why he can't watch the Batman movie.
Came home Michael actually had practice that day, and I promised the kids if they cleaned or something they would get Slurpee. Well guess what Taylor didn't clean, surprise surprise. She broke down and I'm a sucker, but I told her she can have one if she promises to clean up when she gets home and if she does she will get the Slurpee it worked.

Wednesday I don't remember at all, probably trying to get Michael work on his report. That's a whole other story.

Thursday My sister came into town with her in-laws they have a sisters weekend every year and it happened to be here this time. So I picked her up from the airport and she spent the afternoon with us. She, Michael and I all came to Old town with us he is doing a report on there so went to take some pictures. Than on Friday we took her up to The temple to meet her family.
Friday not too bad, Michael had an awesome baseball game he hit a double and gave them the lead which they kept and added to, to beat the #1 team. They where pretty excited. Unfortunately they lost on Saturday and today (monday)

Saturday was good, I got to go to lunch with friends from church to celebrate a friends upcoming baby. It was great. It was even funnier when she opened her $250 gift card (people are really generous here). She has a hard time taking things it was fun.

Oh Sunday I taught relief Society it went well, and now I can relax a little more, it will be even better when Michael's report is done.
I really should talk about my crazy dreams, but that would take too long it was a long week. Here's some pictures.
