Savannah Spotlight

A couple of weeks ago Savannah was the spotlight. Since her birthday is in July they celebrate it later in the year. She has never had that done before. So that was fun for her. I spent way to much time putting together her poster. But she came up with the questions. See we had True and False questions covering the picture and than the class was guess true or false by a thumbs up or thumbs down. It was a lot fun. They got most of them right. WE'll my mom and I stayed up until after 11 pm doing her poster. But it turned out really cute. I only have the picture after we covered all the pictures. I'll get a picture of the poster when she brings it home.

Bowling for Taylor's Birthday

So WE also celebrated with my family on Monday night we went bowling, and had pizza.  The kids had a ton of fun.  One of the funniest moments was when Michael went to bowl and his fingers got stuck and it flew off his had into the next bowling lane.

I'm surpised Drew never got his fingers smashed because this is where he liked to hang out.  Or that he didn't get hit with a bowling ball.

I had some really cute video of the kids dancing but once again I can't get them uploaded.  Ugh!

Taylor's Birthday and Mark visits

So Mark came for a visit and celebrated Taylor's and Drew's birthday.  It was at his parents house so I went for dinner and the party.  Mark's mom had some fun games for the kids which they had a lot of fun doing.  For Taylor and Drew it looked like christmas morning when they went to open there presents.  Their dad spoiled them forsure.  The kids than spent the night with their dad and Saturday with him.

Firestation open house...

The kids had a lot of fun at my dad's firesation.  They had a smokehouse, where they fill it with hollywood smoke and you have to crawl to the nearest exit.  Drew did not like that at all.  Than they had an opstical course and the kids had a lot of fun with that, Michael was really fast I could barely get a picture of him.  But each of the kids did a great job.

Cabin

Every year my dads side of the family have a family get together at my Grandparents cabin. I haven't been to one in years. It was fun to visit with family I haven't seen for along time. While we where there my cousins husband took some family pictures. I also took some of my own.

Nibbles

So we have a rabbit as you all know.  Well Nibbles stopped using one of his legs so I took him to the vet, there was no way I was going to loose my bunny right now, my kids have had enough sadness in their lives right now.  So before the vet my rabbit was free, after...$274!  Only to find nothing wrong, we had to have xrays, and anestestia because of course he wouln't hold still.  They gave me some pain medicine and said come back in a week.  Well when he stopped using both legs I called and we took him back in, thankfully only $40.  They thought he might have some disc injury on his back or something.  Basically just give it sometime.  Thankfully now it has been two weeks and he is doing so much better!

Kids are funny

So lately Drew has a had a very big imagintion.  He loves to make up stuff all the time.  So one of the things is that he makes up about his baseball game he will tell me what his couch looks like, which a lot of times is pretty funny.  One time the coach had blue, black and red hair.  He also told me how he got in a fight with another player, and he acted out all the action.  This is basically what he said, "And than he went like this... and I went...and than..."  You get the idea.

So he got a big Buzz lightyear ballon for his birthday and he had him sleeping with him, we had to get him dressed in the morning, buzz even had to brush his teeth.

Michael has had a lot of fun playing revenge at school so he wanted to do that with me.  So guess who won?  Oh me?  that's right!

Catching Up

So I am slowly trying to catch up with my blog.  I have a list of things that I need to blog about.  So I am going to attempt to do this now.  Many of these things have happened a month ago.  I'm terrible.

But before I do that, just an update on me, does that sound selfish?  So anyway life seemed to be getting easier for a while but than Mark came to visit the kids and celebrated their birthdays.  It was very hard for me.  And ever since I feel like I am going backwards instead of forwards and that was 2 weeks ago.  Also the kids seem to be out of control a lot of the time, and Michael either hates me one moment and loves me the next.  Today he said I ruin his day every morning!  Gotta love that.

It's also fun to go to the speech therapist and have her give you a list of psychologist and behavior specialist because my son has a severe behavior problem.  I feel so overwhelmed with everything.

I finished filling out the stupid divorce papers, I was served about a month ago.  In California I have to also serve Mark, totally lame and pay a stupid fee.  And even if you don't want a divorce they will do it anyway.  Talk about no agency!  I feel like my agency has been totally taken away!  So I got my paperwork back only to see that I didn't put the case number in.  So I had to add that to everything, the original and 2 copies and remail it.

Also did I mention I play soccer once a week, well in my second game over a month ago, I pulled my quad really bad, so bad I was limping out of the indoor place.  It hurt so bad, I took a week off and went back, yes I'm dumb all it took was the first kick and horrible pain once again.  So I like to torture myself and have kept playing until I had my eye surgery.  That gave me a two week break.  I also went to the doctor and he gave me some prescription strength patches, that have helped a lot.

Eye Surgery:
So on October 6th I had eye surgery.  Some of you know I have things called pteygium's in my eyes.  They are growth's on my eyes.  Anyway they are something I have been very self conscience about for along time.  So I went to see a Dr, for follow up of my eye injury a few years ago, and he suggested I get them removed.  So I did.  And it is still healing.  This taken right before I left, and the day after.

Gee doesn't it look so much better!

Anyway that's my little update.

Happy Birthday Drew

Earlier this month we celebrated Drew's Birthday. He was so excited. Now when I ask him how old he is, he can say 4 and I don't have to correct him and say, "no your 3." He would always do that for the past few months. So below he is waiting to open his presents. He could not wait. He kept sitting there waiting. My parents and family had decorated everything while I was gone. My bishop gave me tickets for the Saturday Morning session of conference. (My Brother Blake, his friend and Michael went.) I think Drew had a really fun birthday. We rented a jump house and he loved it. Espeically since it was spider man!
So Drew is probably the cutest kid I have ever seen open presents. Every present he opened he was soooo excited for. One time he even said, "Yeah baby!"
You can see his excitement on his face. He loved everything!

His last present was a bike.  He was so excited.  Although you can't really see it in this picture.  He is pretty careful on his bike.  Which is very good.  Although he has fallen several times.  One time I thought he was going to crash into a rock wall.

He is such a cutie and brings a lot of joy to my life.  Just knowing that he loves me makes me happy, and even though sometimes it can drive me crazy, he always wants his mom!
