Memory Lane

I got this from a friends blog. I looked cute so I thought I would try. I hope this will be fun for you! I look forward to reading the responses... or do I? Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! I guess good or bad, but be nice!!!!!!!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

How do I pick just one!!! So many sleepovers, gooey apricots stuck in our toes, your older brother relentlessly teasing you, the bee in your pants, crossing the river at zions, saving me from marrying outside the temple, introducing me to my husband, your wedding, babies, there is simply too many good ones to choose from! If you don't remember any of these let me know!

The memory that stands out the most is my first memory of you when we met for the first time outside of the kids school on the girls first day of kindergarten.

I remember you when you were a baby. You liked to rub your hair with your free hand or rub batting from you blanket under your nose while you sucked on your two fingers. One side of your head had a lot less hair than the other. One time your mother could smell something on you. It ended up that you had stuffed batting up your nose. I remember all the times you talked to me about whether or not to wait for a missionary or marry Mark. You made the right choice. You’ve been part of my life for a really long time. Thanks for the memories SHERRY:)
Love,
Sue

Oh, I have two major ones (because I never follow the rules on blog posts) One was during the fires when we stayed at your house. You were trying not to freak us out, and the same time figuring out if you were going to leave too. You were GREAT--it was such a relief being at your house (while watching the fire come down the hill--weird!)

The other (less intense) one is when the Young Men kept bothering us during a Tuesday activity, and you kept threatening them until they pushed you too far and you took off over them! I've never seen those boys run so fast in my life! Man, the girls talked about that FOEVER! "Run! It's Sister Breese!" :-)

I remember when you came to Utah over the holidays and we played Risk with Mark, Blake, and I think Brian, that was fun, probably my first memory of getting to know you.
