The Trash

Well I feel awful. Today is my Grandpa's birthday we share the same birthday month. I always remember. Needless to say I forgot today. And it's not like I can run out and drop off a card, since he lives in another state. So I'll call I feel bad though.

So tell me who takes the trash out in your house? And puts the barrels on the street? I'm a tradition women I believe that a MAN should do it. So I've been working with Michael to do it. But really Mark should do it don't you agree??? You'd better say yes. But anyhow he often times forgets, so I'm there on Friday morning in my PJ's putting the trash out. Should I just stop complaining and do it? What do you think? Don't get me wrong Mark is a great husband! But this little duty slips his mind. Sometimes he just gets home too late so that's out of his control, and he is exhausted.

Anyway just a moment to complain about the trash duty. Oh did I mention the steep driveway I have to push the barrels up? At least they have wheels right?

I HATE taking the trash to the curb. I decided that it was the one chore Dan should have to do. Everything else I can do or ask him to help with, but the trash is all his. He does a good job too. But I am behind you 100%, Trash is the man's job!

Trash is the man's job, hands down.

John is very good at taking the trash out, and everytime we have to take it out the the dumpster in the parking lot. The thing that gets me a little is he forgets to put a new bag in the trash. Oh well, can't have everything even when you think most of the time you already do.

Sharon, all I can say in your current situation is, get used to it, you're on trash duty for the next 3+ years! Don't get me wrong, I think our husbands should do the "dirty" chores. Unfortunately, as the wife of an oral surgery resident, it's all about you. Just be thankful for those wheels on the can, I'm grateful for mine:)
