So I've been having some upper right quandrant pain. Mark checked me and said I was positive murphy sign which is a sing of gallbladder problems. Mark had been trying to get me in for unltrasound and stuff. So today her called at 7:30 and said come in as soon as you can. So I waited until 8 to call to get someone to watch my kids. Oh and Mark said, just in case...Don't eat anything today, that means just incase of surgery. So I got there around 9 am. The girls where at one house, and the boys to another, so many thanks to those who helped. First ultrasound, than blood word. Than I waited around to find out those results. All negative. By this point it's around 10:30. I told Mark I'd rather call it quits because I know they won't find anything. Next they want to do a hida scan (don't know how to spell it) I have an IV they put nuclear die in me, and watch it for and hour and watch my gallbladder, than they add some other stuff and watch it some more for another 1/2 hour. It's a long time on a little table about 12 inches wide.
So the results....Negative. Lastly let's check for an ulcer, so they are going to stick a camera down my throat to my stomach, it makes me nausea's to just think about it. I had gargle the nastiest numbing stuff twice and swallow. Than they lay me on my side, and they tell me to swallow, this is them sticking the tube down, than I don't remember anything because the sedation was finally given. I woke up only to find out the awful procedure that made me totally Nassau's was worthless. Negative. I hate going to the hospital this is why I deal with the pain instead of going in. But now they are dumbfounded, they totally believed I had a gallbladder problem I have all the symptoms. So now we will be looking into other things. I have had this pain on and off for 3 years, it just got more consistent, I normally have it every day, it's not killing me, but it's uncomfortable. Anyhow I hope you had a better day than me. It's been 6 hours since I got home and I'm still nausea's. I can't even think of the procedures, it makes it worse. OH yes I did finlly get to eat, around 5 a piece of toast. Mark was in charge of dinner I was ordered by the doctor to lay down and do nothing. Mark is such a great husband, tonight was a very busy night for him he has a lot of studying to do, but he made dinner, and took care of the kids. Well I better try to go to bed.
