Wall Art

Just before Michael opened his presents my mom asked if I had Drew's artwork in his room.  That didn't sound good.  I asked what he did, she said, "You'll see when you go up."  And I did see.  He Drew an awesome airplane on the ceiling!  The good thing is it washed off really easy, I think he used a dry erase marker.

#2 Birthday Celebration

Here's Michael opening presents from my parents and I.  He was all smiles, even when he got a tie.  And a rare moment caught on camera, all the kids hugging each other and smiling at the same time!

Miscellaneous Pictures

So I forgot about a lot of these pictures so they are from the past sever months.  The first one is when Drew had some dental work done.  It almost looks like he has a c-pap on.  But it's just nasal anesthesia.
Drew someday's loves to do his hair, this is how he wanted me to do it.  "spiked!"

Lovin' O.T.  Drew's loves going to OT.  This is just one of the fun things he gets to do there.  You  have to understand that when he started swing as high and fast as he is (even though it's not much) was way to much for him, he would start to panic.
Notice Taylor in the back poking her head out?  This is from dad's (plus one mom) and Donuts.  I'm such a dork I didn't think to bring my camera.
Savannah is quite the cook lately.  She loves making eggs in the morning.  This is just one of her many breakfast of eggs.  All three eggs where for her, she did it all by herself.  She is the pro!
I can't remember if I posted this picture or not but this is where we found Drew one morning.  On the floor in the girls room.
Michael made a huge "hut" out of blankets one day, we kept it up all week.  It took up the whole room.
More of Savannah's cooking, "Chocolate Chip Banana Pizza"  it was very tasty!

The Best Christmas Present Ever!

So I finally uploaded the pictures from the power point presentation Michael had made me for Christmas.  I just wanted to share what a wonderful son I have.  He did this all on his own, than asked family to write something at the end.  And than he played it for me on the computer.  He had it hidden in a file under Relief Society, and in a folder named Joseph Smith.  How clever!

Kids!

So I love my kids, I really do but somedays I would love to sell some to the zoo.  Today it was Drew we went to Kohl's to look for some shoes and than to target, I did this with all 4 kids.  (Maybe I should go to the zoo I'm crazy.)  Michael had birthday money he was using to buy stuff, (My first mistake, should of taken him by myself.)  Well Drew wanted to get something but of course he couldn't.  So he started to screaming, kicking and hitting me.  I got a lot of stares by people mainly older people.  Other's tried to ignore us, but I don't think anyone in the store could ignore him.  My arms where ready to break off by the time we walked out of the store.  And be proud of me I did not give in a buy him the toys he wanted.

*note to self, to remain sane do not take all four kids (especially Drew) to the store again!

So yesterday I got a phone call from Taylor's friends mom, she said, "I'm so sorry we had an accident."  I'm thinking what car accident.  she continued, "Taylor's ok, my garage door wasn't' working, she got stuck under it."  Ok I have four kids I now have succeeded in having two kids get squashed under two garage doors.  Thankfully Taylor was ok, she had a line of dirt on her back where she got stuck.  Savannah was there she said she screamed tried to push the door up, and than ran away.  The mom was pretty shuck up.  The other two friends where pretty scared too.  The mom felt horrible.  She doesn't know what happened the door just didn't work right.

So later that day I hear someone walking down the stairs to the basement, and than I hear a scream and  thump, thump, thump.  Drew had fallen down the stairs.  Poor boy he was crying so hard there was no sound.  He was not a happy boy.  But besides landing on his face/head and scraping his nose he was ok. He did get a little bloody nose but it stopped.  He was so cute when we asked him what happaned he said, "I fthip, fthip, fthip, 3 times, " as he held up four fingers and showed us with his hands how he "fthiped"  poor boy.  So at Michael basketball game (which he did totally awesome) everyone asked what happened to Drew's nose.  It was one of those scrapes that don't look like anything until they start to scab.

So those are some of my latest adventures with my kids.

What a Day!

Before I go back I must speak about today.  Michael received the priesthood today.  I can not believe my little boy is 12 years old.  It's so crazy.  I couldn't be more proud.  Michael is an amazing young man.  Life has not been very easy for him lately, but he is doing a great job.  Michael had family surrounding him, Mark was even able to come up.  It was a very emotional moment.  I don't know if there was a dry eye.  The spirit was very strong.  The best part was seeing Michael pass the sacrament.  Last night he was so cute, he said "Mom I don't want to pass the sacrament tomorrow.  I'm not ready."   But after his ordination he saw some of his friends from the other ward, they where so cool they asked Michael, do you know what number you are, and talking about how you pass the sacrament.  He seemed fine once he started to do it.  I asked him after he sat down, "where you nervous?"  He said no.  I'm sure he was a little more than he'll admit.

Michael has had a week long birthday celebration.  He had his birthday and we celebrated with Mark's parents for some yummy taco's.  He was really excited to get Settlers of Cantan from them, that is his new favorite game.   After we came home and I gave him my presents and my parents gave him theirs.

Friday was a basketball game and off to his first scout camp.  After he got home he took off with Mark's Mom to go get his Dad at the airport.  Later he picked up his friends for pizza and than off to Boondocks.  Mark and I took the kids up there.  The boys seemed to have a lot of fun.  They froze riding the go-karts out in the cold.  They had a blast playing laser tag.  I mainly sat around visiting with Mark and reading my book.  It was fun to see him "hanging out" with his friends.  They had a lot of fun.   He has some great friends.

Than today, he was ordained a Deacon and after church we had my family over to celebrate his birthday and he got a couple more presents, blew out another birthday cake.  I forgot to mention that Diane has sparkler candles on his cake and my parents had bought trick candles too. So that was fun.

Michael is such a cutie.  He really is, I love his sweet shy smile, when you give him a compliment.  He really was happy this week.  It's hard to believe it was only 12 years ago that I brought home this 8 lbs and 10 once baby!  Did I mention he was 22 1/4 inches long.  He keeps asking why is he so short if he was so long when he was born?  Who knows.  How grateful I am to have this young man in my life.  He brings me a lot of joy.  He is so sweet to give me hugs when I am sad, pat me on the back and say, "it's okay mom."
