Sometimes Summer days are just too much...
Savannah had fun with him, and stuck this spoon in his hand and put the blizzard in front of him and took his picture.
Helping at school
Another thing we did this summer was help my mom get ready for school. The kids where a big help...Most of the time. They helped fill birthday bags, put books and folders on desks and sharpen pencils. I spent a lot of time down there too. It was nice having something to do.
Happy Birthday Dad
Michael Learn to Mow the Lawn
There are many good things from coming here to live. ONe is Michael has learned to mow the lawn. He gets paid to mow the back lawn ever week. He really likes it. And he does a really good job. My dad does the edges and he does the rest.
Visiting Grandpa's Fire Station
Poor Drew has never been to my Dad's fire station, that he could remember. He was loving trying out Driving the big ladder truck. Everytime he sees a firetruck, he says, "Grandpa's Fire Truck!" even in San Diego.
Happy Birthday Savannah
So Just before we left for San Diego we celebrated SAvannah's Birthday. I can't believe she is 9 years old! She had a great birthday, Mark sent her a box with gifts, and all my Family was there for this party. (We had already Celebrated with Mark's family) Two party's how lucky!
Here's the box Mark sent. It was pretty funny as she took stuff out all the other kids could see that there was a Nintendo DS in it, but she didn't notice. Mark had wrapped in clear purple cellophane, he thought it was solid. It was funny we where all laughing and she didn't see it till the very end.
For her birthday she also got Rollerskates! She is always trying to use my old ones, which are way to big. This was a favorite pasttime for my sister and I! We could skate for hours. My sister helped Savannah try out her skates.
