Storm

We had a big storm yesterday and I haven't seen anything like this in California.  When I drove down my road it was like a wind tunnel the wind was really bad and than not blowing in other places.  Trees are down all over the neighborhood, leaves are everywhere.  One tree at the bottom of our street covered the whole street, and big eucalyptus tree.  My car smelled really good after driving over the tip of it.  This is some of the damage in our yard, well the biggetst, the rest is just broken branches that didn't break anything.  Our yard is a mess.  Thank goodness our landlords pay for a gardner, although I think we will be helping out.

Bargain Wharehouse

My friends just opened a store in Layton.  It has a little bit of everything.  It's located across from Sam's Club and next to the Bear Cafe.  Where the D.I. used to be.  Go check  it out.  It's opened on Thurs-Sat.

December Nights at Balboa Park

Saturday was a busy day for us. Mark the other residents come to our house to watch some football. 3 residents couldn’t come, so we had two and one of their families. It was fun to visit. And the kids had fun playing together.

After that our family took off to Balboa park for December Nights. I think all the museums are free, they all these food and shops up all over selling stuff. WE parked at the Hospital and walked up, lots of parking there.  WE went to the Reuben fleet science center and the San Diego Natural History Museums’. I’ve been wanting to go their for a while. It was very busy but a lot of fun. The kids loved the Natural history museum the most. Drew was scared of all the dinosaurs, but eventually got braver. The hard part is no strollers and Drew wanted to be carried all the time. He loved the whale skeletons the most. He loves whales.

Family Pictures

Ah the joy of trying to get a family picture. This is just what we tried to do yesterday morning. I’ve been wanting to have my friend do the picture but we just can never seem to find a free day to see if she is available. So we tried ourselves, I used a timer on our camera and did it that way. Turns out that if you are not in the picture when you hit the timer button you are out of focus. So that is why I’m out of focus. Also not really ready These are our two best pictures. Drew did not want to do this at all. But oh well, this may be the best we get for our Christmas cards.

I would have to grab Drew and try to get us ready, this was what it looked like at th end.  So neither one is that great, but I'm thinking of the first or second picture what do you think?

Primary Program Poster

So when we had our primary program a while back they made a poster of our family. All the kids in the primary made one, one per family. This is ours and it was hanging one under the podium. Some other family where all very organzied, a simple. This was a group effort by mine. There is a roller coster, family tree, a whale (that's the thing that looks like the Blimp.) swimming, baseball, video gaming, It makes me smile when I see it.

Drew's Stocking

When we where decorating Drew found his stocking but for some reason he thought it was something you put on. He striped down and wanted it put on. But soon realized it wasn't something to wear, but I did manage to get a picture.

Isn't he so cute. He is the only one with the giant stocking. He loves it.
