So this is a preview... Mark took the girls camping last night and fishing. Michael, Diane, Drew and I came up for dinner. I being the great fire starter got the fire going. Thanks to my brilliant Mother in law she realized we didn't even have to use a lighter, the coals where hot so we stuck some kindling in and the fire was started.
We had hot dogs, chili and smores. So the four of us who drove up went home and left a very sad Savannah and Taylor with Dad. Savannah wanted to come home she was really nervous.
Turns out they ended up being just fine (like we thought) until she woke up in the middle of the night and threw up over everything. It's bad enough at home, but camping! Yuck all I can say is I'm glad I wasn't there. Taylor slept through the whole thing.
Also Michael threw up at home, but thankfully it was in the toilet I don't know what the deal was with them, because they where totally fine right after.
Well I better go back we are heading to Disneyland! YEA

Camping
Got to Love Brother's
So my loving big brother called me tonight. The conversation turned to my blog...Turns out that my blog is a good laugh. Not because of my quick an Witty jokes, but because of my fabulous spelling!
It's comments like this..."Michael is just so sweat!, he is just so sweat!" that give my family a good laugh over dinner.
We were laughing, everyone who knows me knows I can't spell and that my grammar is atrocious. And I'm sure if you didn't know you have already figured it out. I really should print up a Sharon's Dictionary.
Oh well, that is what makes my blog so fun right!

Easter
Well I hope ya'all had a great Easter, ours was...a little untraditional. I'm sure many of you grew up like me. Easter Sunday was almost as good a Christmas, but smaller. Baskets full of fun stuff, coloring eggs as a family the night before. And of course the search for eggs in the morning.

I need your help
I'm looking into trying to start a DVD montague business. For now something simple. I enjoy making them for my family and have heard others do this as a small business. So I would like to ask you if this is something you think would work. Would you pay for this? And if so how much?
I've made one for Michael's baptism,
Melinda's mission which included her home video of her opening her mission call
A fun one for Melinda's bridal shower, which had home video and pictures
I've done one of our Christmas.
So basically it could include anything you'd like. I know for me this is a great way to look at our photo's, I have so many digital photos that aren't in scrapbooks. This is an easy way to store them, but also fun, and easy way to view. YOu can watch them on basically any DVD player.
Just so you know I add music, either your own or what I have, I can do chapters, so say if you did do a mission montague you could do chapters by areas.
So please let me know if you would be interested.
Also I would like to do some for free so I can get some samples out so if you would like something done let me know. It would be farely easy eithre you can save them on a cd or dvd, or even on a portable flash drive.
Also if you have Home videos on 8 mm cassettes I can convert them to dvd for you. For a small price.
Please let me know, I need opinions.

SURPRISE
All I can say is I have the best husband around. Mark loves surprises. I on the other hand don't and most of the time find out about them. (Not on purpose). Well Mark threw me a big surprise party last night. I was for the most part surprised. We had planned on going out to eat and than to a Movie. He said he got IMAX tickets to 10,000 BC. Nancy was planning to come over to babysit. We do a babysitting exchange.
Nancy took this pictures just as I walked in. I was surprised. Even though I had my suspicions. So Nancy and her family where there, Harmony and her family, Bran and Jen, Chad and Mercedes, and Karen and Marty Bramwell with Luke where there as well (all the way from Poway). And of course my kids. There was pizza, chicken wings from our favorite Asian food place, and chips and soda, balloons and silly string. Oh silly string was everywhere. Thankfully my friends helped me scrape it of the floor, and still there is some left. I'm going to have to take a brush to it. Mark hid everything in his closet. And Nancy and Karen family I think are the ones who decorated. It was very nice. I have to say just before I opened the door I got a little chocked up I felt so loved.
Here are am brushing string off of us.
My Suspicions
So like I said I was a little suspicious. First Savannah said that she could wait until Friday it was going to be so fun. And the kids kept say it's my birthday on Friday, my real one. I didn't get that at all. Michael got so mad at Savannah on Thursday for saying something he hit her, and said it's a surprise. Than he tried to tell me it's a surprise for Ryan (our neighbor friend). But still I didn't think too much.
Than on Friday Mark kept cleaning up everything, outside, the mirrors, windows. He was going crazy. He helped me fix the front of our courtyard. So I got a little suspicious then and cleaned really good myself.
But than I again just thought well Nancy is coming over it will be nice to have the house clean. And Mark said it will be nice not to have to do anything on Saturday. I said you don't' ever do anything on the weekends, and he just said well I've been meaning too.
Mark did good, he got everyone's numbers off my phone (it explains why I found it a week again unplugged by his stuff). Everyone else played along really well. It's funny because Nancy even asked is there was a special routine for Drew's bed and what time should the kids go to bed...She was good. It was a lot of fun. So even though I had an idea, I didn't really think so until we where pulling up so I was still taken by surprise.
I had the best birthday week. Gee if knew your got such treatment at 30 I would of said, "Bring it on!"

Wow I'm 30
Well the day has finally arrived. I'm officially 30 years old, not longer in my twenty's, "official a women" someone said. There are many way to say it.
Well the day hasn't been too bad. I went to the gym to work my old bones. And they still worked amazingly.
I got phone calls first from my Brother Ryan :-), my dad and mom, and friends. Thanks! It always makes me feel special.
I thought Mark had forgotten me only to learn he had been trying to text me all morning (it's our only way to communicate most of the day) my phone wasn't working right we later learned. We'll we arranged it so he could meet me for lunch at Zorbas. It's a Greek restaurant we had the buffet. Let me back up, but I had a great friend, Nancy, who volunteered her services for me. She came and watched the kids while I went to lunch. That was really nice of her. She even had to take four kids to the bus stop to get Savannah. And she even made eggs for Savannah for lunch.
Lunch was nice, we had a good time. We really like this place. So I really should just skip the part about the gross hair in my dessert. I don't know if I can go back. I guess it is a buffet they said their was nothing they could do. They find stuff like that sometimes. YUCK! But it was fun to see Mark and have lunch.
Later I came home and began to clean. Talked to My mom, and brother. Then my sweat Son Michael made me a really cute card. He was so sweat about it too. I asked him to grab the camera out of my purse for me. He said he couldn't find it. I said it's on the table or in the closet..."I can't find it," he persisted. So I asked Taylor to get it. Than he said, "mom can I have one of dad's special treats? can you get them down for me?" I said "Yes they are on the counter," he said, "no they aren't" and this kept going because I knew they where on the counter I put them there. So finally I got up and saw them on the Fridge, I accused him of putting them there and turned and he said, "you still don't get it do you?" I saw a homemade card from him, so cute and sweet. This is what it said:
So far it's been a pretty good day. I guess I should get back to my mom duties.
Not to rub it in but...
If you can't tell there is a sprinkler under our trampoline.
