Wow what a summer. What a year really. My roller coaster life never seems to end. I guess it keeps it interesting right?
Let me see if I can share some of our past experiences this year or from my last post.
Michael tried out for Forza Soccer and made the Gold team! So proud of him!
I took my four kids to Spokane Washington to visit Christy (Mark's Sister). It was a lot of fun. we made the drive in one day. How I made it without falling asleep I will never know. So it was a really pretty drive once you got out of Idaho. So we got to Spokane and Christy calls and tells me that some of the roads are closed. I guess nothing ever happens in Spokane but that day there happened to be a shooting in town. It was so crazy to so many undercover cop cars driving past. I guess a Police Officer got shot.
We had fun:
10 kids in one house ranging from 13 down to 1years old.
WE went to the River Front park in downtown.
Love this girl and all the personality that she carries with her!
These waterfalls where really cool.
The kids had fun sleeping not he tramp.
We had fun making s'mores.
We had fun swimming at the YMCA and rock climbing:
some little girl let drew borrow her shoes so he could climb the wall.
But the most fun was going boating:
Michael knee boarding.
Below is Savannah and I. My first time on a knee board!
The younger kids had fun catching fish off the dock and collecting them in buckets. The probably caught over 15 fish.
And Taylor below for the very first time, she did awesome. Thanks to Christy's Brother in-law helping her up.
Kayaking is always fun too. Below is Drew and Mckay
And Michael got up on the wake board too.
Thank you to Cal's Sister and Brother in law we had a blast boating. Probably our favorite day. After we went across the street to this house that was amazing, they had a zip line in back and off course my camera and phone where out of battery. So annoying. But the kids did that and loved it. Took Taylor a long time to get the courage up to do it but she finally did. It was a great day!
We had so much fun, so thankful to be able to spend time with Christy and her family and thankful that we still have a great relationship. Thanks for having us guys!
